Find where links lead — and where they fail.

Our link checker uses Site Discovery Engine rather than spinning up an unbounded crawler. It examines pages on your website, records where links were found, and reports HTTP responses alongside target states and confirmed-broken evidence.

A 404 or 410 response can indicate a missing page, but an HTTP error alone is not the same as an engine-confirmed broken link. Access restrictions, challenges and timeouts need separate investigation.

01Enter a public URL

Start a same-host crawl of up to 100 pages and depth three.

02Review the actual results

See destinations, source pages, anchor text, HTTP status and whether the engine confirmed a broken link.

03Prioritize repairs

Filter link states and export loaded evidence as CSV, preserving each referrer URL.

Understand link checks.

What qualifies as a confirmed broken link?

Only links marked confirmed_broken by Site Discovery Engine are counted as confirmed broken. HTTP 404 or 410 without that confirmation is shown as a separate observation for review.

Are 403, 429 and timeouts broken links?

Not necessarily. They can indicate access restrictions, rate limits or temporary network issues. The tool labels these separately from confirmed failures.

Does the scan check every external website?

No. The scan is limited to the provided website and Site Discovery Engine's bounded target-checking policy. External links not verified by the engine remain unverified. The tool does not launch additional uncontrolled network requests.

Will the report include the entire site?

Not guaranteed. The free crawl is capped at 100 processed pages with a maximum depth of three. More link records can be loaded through paginated results; CSV reflects only the records you have loaded.

Fix broken journeys before visitors find them.
