XMLRobots-awareCanonical-aware

A straightforward sitemap workflow.

The crawler explores same-host pages, observes robots.txt and indexability directives, and generates a valid sitemap from eligible canonical URLs. It may discover more URLs than it processes, but our free tier processes at most 500 pages.

A sitemap helps search engines discover your preferred URLs. It doesn't guarantee crawling, indexing or improved rankings.

01Enter a website

Public HTTP(S) homepage or subdirectory URL only; no private networks, logins or custom ports.

02Watch the real crawl

Site Discovery Engine applies the 500-page cap during crawling, with a depth limit and no interactive automation.

03Create and download XML

Only eligible URLs are included. The XML file is checked again before download.

Common sitemap questions.

Is 500 pages Google's sitemap limit?

No. Google-supported standard sitemap files may contain up to 50,000 URLs and 50 MiB uncompressed. The 500-page limit here is our free tool limit, enforced at crawl time.

Will my entire website be included?

Not necessarily. The crawler processes at most 500 pages with a depth limit of four. Websites larger than that, client-only navigation, robots exclusions, redirect chains or inaccessible URLs may not be fully covered.

Does the sitemap include noindex and duplicate URLs?

Site Discovery Engine's generation policy excludes explicitly noindex, redirected, duplicate, non-200 and non-self-canonical crawl records by default. Exclusions depend on metadata actually observed.

Can I use the XML in Google Search Console?

Yes, if your crawl completes and the XML is generated. Download it, host it under your website's domain and submit that URL in Search Console. The downloaded file isn't automatically published to your website.
